Stain removing tips from Whirly!

Life can get pretty messy sometimes, especially when it comes to stains. You never see them coming until it’s too late and when you’ve got little ones at home, you know messes are bound to happen! Good thing you have Whirly the washer monster ready with tips and tricks to help get rid of any stain no matter the size or substance!

Stain, stain, go away

In a perfect world we’d have a washer around whenever we get a stain but we all know life doesn’t work that way! It’s almost as if the stain plans when to strike, at the most inconvenient times. Having a family dinner? Stain. Enjoying a cup of coffee at your kids baseball game? Stain. Your little one’s playing with chalk on the playground? Stain.

Whenever the stain appears, be sure to take action as soon as possible. Remember the #1 rule, dab, not rub. Use a cloth or any kind of tissue you have available, rinse it with a little bit of water and dab until the stain is less noticeable. Continue to address the spot but be sure not to apply too heavily. Keep dabbing until the stain is almost completely gone, then when you get home Whirly will be ready to finish the job and wash the rest of the stain away!

Begone grass stain

There is one type of stain that seems almost IMPOSSIBLE to get out, the grass stain. When the kids are outside playing around and are rolling all over the place you know a grass stain or two is bound to appear. But fear no more because Whirly has the hack for you!

All you will need is a toothbrush and toothpaste. Yes you read that correctly! Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste onto the stain, then dip the toothbrush in clean water and use it to scrub the stain away. Be sure to use a paste toothpaste and not a gel. Blushy the bathroom monster can supply you with what you need! Once you’re done scrubbing, rinse the area and launder the clothing as usual! Now the kids are free to run around and make as many grass stains as they want since you’ll be ready!

Food stain for thought

When it comes to family meals, kids get into the mindset of using their clothes to wipe their hands instead of the napkins on the table. This is where a common pantry item saves the day, cornstarch! If the stain is from greasy food, apply the cornstarch directly to it and let it soak up the grease for a few minutes. After the time is up brush it away and voila, the grease stain will lift right out. It’s almost like magic! Now you can show the kids that you have magic powers!
